Mohammad Asif represented P who was under investigation by Trading Standards for numerous offences including regulatory offences, money laundering and fraud.
Opus Law applied to have the Restraint Order discharged on the basis that there was a lack of progress with the prosecution and due to the initial application for the Restraint Order having been made prematurely. The defendant was also successful in recovering his legal costs in full. This application paved the way for the 4 co-defendants to make similar successful applications.
