Bradford City Football Club reinstated in FA Cup after successful appeal
Ben Jones was instructed by Bradford City Football Club following their expulsion from the FA Cup for fielding an ineligible player, Curtis Good, who was on loan from Newcastle United.
Following notification of their expulsion, a rigorous appeal was prepared and Simon Csoka QC instructed. All parties attended an FA appeal hearing at Wembley stadium. Having heard all submissions put on behalf of the club the panel decided to reinstate the club to the competition and this allowed them to face Brentford in the second round of the competition.
To date we remain the only case of a club being reinstated to the competition following an initial expulsion for fielding an illegible player.
